Hello Wolverine Fans!

 

We are about to approach the halfway point of the season and there is a lot of action going on in the Utah Valley Baseball Program!

Best Start in Program History

The 2023 season has gotten off to a fast start as Utah Valley has the best start in program history through 24 games.   The season began with an 8-game road trip that saw the Wolverines collect 5 wins over California schools.  Then the team split a 4-game series at nationally ranked Portland before picking up another win in Idaho over Northwest Nazarene.

Lehigh traveled all the way to Orem for the Home Opener that saw a 4-game series split.  In conference play, Utah Valley is 2-2 having two games snowed out last weekend against Tarleton State.

 


Walk Off Win over BYU

Tuesday the Wolverines scored 5 runs in the 9th inning to walk off the BYU Cougars at UCCU Ballpark.  The win was an exciting game capped off by a 2 out, 2 RBI pinch hit single from freshman Luke Iverson.

With Tuesday’s win, Utah Valley has now won 5 of the last 8 games against in-state opponents and including 2 of the last 3 against BYU and Utah.

 

Summer Camp Registration is now available

Players of all ages are able to join us this summer for our camps.  Our prospect and last chance camps are great ways for players to come experience Utah Valley Baseball and work with our coaches.  These camps are a primary route for our program to identify prospects and the only way in which we can work with players on field.  The youth and development camps target younger players wanting a great baseball experience while learning more about the game.  For more information or to register for our camps, visit www.UVUBaseballCamps.com.

 

Upcoming Home Games

There will be a lot of baseball at UCCU Ballpark in April and May!  Tickets are available for all home games through the UVU Ticket Office.  Come enjoy great baseball at UCCU Ballpark – home of “Baseball’s Best Backdrop”!  Here is a look at the upcoming home schedule:

March 31, April 1, April 2 – vs. Grand Canyon

April 11 – vs. Utah

April 14-16 – vs. UTRGV

April 17 – vs. Utah Tech

April 26 – vs. Washington State

May 5-7 – vs. Stephen F. Austin

May 12-14 – vs. New Mexico State

May 16 – vs. Utah

  Hello Wolverine Fans!   One of the most exciting seasons in Utah Valley program history has come to an end and summer is in full swing.   Here is a look at what is going on inside the program.     Utah Valley Reaches WAC Championship Game The WAC Tournament was a magical time for the team as they flew through the first three games of the tournament by a combined score of 42-11 en route to the WAC Championship Game.   In the finals, Sam Houston State proved too tough keeping Utah Valley just one win short of the NCAA Tournament.   It was a great tournament for the Wolverines highlighted by All Tournament recognition for multiple players and the first WAC Championship Game appearance since 2016.   Third Place Regular Season Finish A win on the last day of the season secured a 16-12 WAC record for Utah Valley which secured third place in the WAC standings.   The third place finish matched the highest finish in the WAC in prog...

  Hello Wolverine Fans! We are hopeful that your holidays have been filled with fun, friends, family, and food!   With New Year’s Day approaching, it means one thing:   Soon the team will back at it with the start of Spring Semester!    There is always great excitement about the upcoming season during this time of year and this season is no different.   We are excited about our February 17 Opening Day game at UC Davis and several other exciting things that are going on around the program!   2023 Schedule Release The full 2023 schedule has been released and is an exciting slate highlighted by a program record 26 home games!   31 total games will be played in the state of Utah including a 3-game series at Utah Tech and non conference away games at BYU and Utah.   BYU and Utah will both visit UCCU Ballpark twice to culminate 3 game sets with each in-state non conference foe.
