Hello Wolverine Fans!

It’s game week!  We are so excited to get on the plane to Texas Thursday as we begin our season against Texas State.  The preseason has been a great one as the Utah weather has been very baseball friendly.  We have been able to play the majority of our scrimmages in outside and play at our beautiful home field in preparation for the season.

 

Season Tickets Now On Sale

Season tickets are available for the 2022 season at UCCU Ballpark.  The package includes admission for all 18 home games and there are options for box seats inside the stadium and hillside general admission seating.  Visit www.GoUVU.com/tickets to secure your seat for the season.

Opening Weekend Pitching Rotation Set

With Opening Weekend upon us, the pitching rotation will begin with second year right handed pitcher Devin Smith starting on Opening Night.  For Saturday’s doubleheader, Arkansas-Little Rock grad transfer Cal Beardsley will start Game 1.  Beardsley, left handed, also graduated from Orem High School.  Mason Gray will start the second game of the doubleheader as he begins his third year.  For Sunday’s  finale Cameron Scudder, a left handed transfer from Hawaii-Hilo will get the nod.

 

Home Opener is Tuesday, February 22

In the earliest Opening Day in the history of Utah Valley Baseball, the Wolverines will take on the Utah Utes in a game at 4:05pm on Tuesday, February 22.  The new turf at UCCU Ballpark and on campus location of the field allow Utah Valley Baseball to play on our home field earlier than ever as the field conditions remain incredibly favorable, even in February.   This is the first of three games that will be played between the Wolverines and Utes this season.

 

Be sure to follow along all season long as we have multiple media outlets to watch the Wolverines.  ESPN+ will carry several broadcasts online and updates will always be available at www.GoUVU.com.  We hope to see all of you at the ballpark!

  Hello Wolverine Fans!   One of the most exciting seasons in Utah Valley program history has come to an end and summer is in full swing.   Here is a look at what is going on inside the program.     Utah Valley Reaches WAC Championship Game The WAC Tournament was a magical time for the team as they flew through the first three games of the tournament by a combined score of 42-11 en route to the WAC Championship Game.   In the finals, Sam Houston State proved too tough keeping Utah Valley just one win short of the NCAA Tournament.   It was a great tournament for the Wolverines highlighted by All Tournament recognition for multiple players and the first WAC Championship Game appearance since 2016.   Third Place Regular Season Finish A win on the last day of the season secured a 16-12 WAC record for Utah Valley which secured third place in the WAC standings.   The third place finish matched the highest finish in the WAC in prog...

  Hello Wolverine Fans! We are hopeful that your holidays have been filled with fun, friends, family, and food!   With New Year’s Day approaching, it means one thing:   Soon the team will back at it with the start of Spring Semester!    There is always great excitement about the upcoming season during this time of year and this season is no different.   We are excited about our February 17 Opening Day game at UC Davis and several other exciting things that are going on around the program!   2023 Schedule Release The full 2023 schedule has been released and is an exciting slate highlighted by a program record 26 home games!   31 total games will be played in the state of Utah including a 3-game series at Utah Tech and non conference away games at BYU and Utah.   BYU and Utah will both visit UCCU Ballpark twice to culminate 3 game sets with each in-state non conference foe.
